Completing Her Mission…

Diane was bereaved of her mother as a child and was left feeling abandoned, confused and responsible for her fathers actions. 43 years later, she published a book to raise funds to set up CatchU. Her book ‘Daughter of a Murderer’ is a true account of her life trying to overcome her adverse childhood experience.

Her career has involved working with traumatised children and supporting victims to recover from toxic relationships. She facilitated positive parenting programmes in refuges and became a DA trainer and consultant to raise awareness and help save lives. Diane has experience delivering effective therapeutic programmes for children. She has researched complex PTSD and the impact domestic homicides has on.

Raising Awareness…

Charity Fundraising…

Diane is a qualified teacher and has a management in social work Diploma for leading learning for safeguarding children. She has always believed the welfare of the child is paramount and that children bereaved by a domestic homicide should receive the care, support and advice they need to handle their loss and overcome their trauma.

Setting up a charity on this scale costs a lot of money. Governments and funders are unlikely to offer any funds until CatchU has been running for a couple of years, so all proceeds of Diane’s book will be going directly to the charity.
